Sensitive to different levels of experience – good! Sensitive to safety issues. – Good! I like that she didn’t do the steps for us, even though some steps were more complicated. We learned by doing. Learn Chemistry & Art!

The Twisted link class was amazing! It gave me a whole new appreciation for jewelry. I left with a beautiful copper bracelet that was so intricate I couldn’t believe I made it! Natalie is not only great at explaining each step – she is so good about educating us as well. I learned lots of new terms and got a lot of knowledge on the process of metal work.

Wonderful experience. The shop was charming, Natalie was organized and skilled and the end result was better than I ever expected. I took my mom to this class for her birthday and she loved the whole thing. I’ll also mention that Sioux Falls had lovely shops and food and the trip was an overall pleasure. Thanks, Natalie! My husband and I were looking for something fun and different to do for our anniversary. My husband found Joe’s Garage and the Wave Spinner Ring Class through the new Airbnb Experiences. Even though we were driving in from the Twin Cities, it was totally worth the travel time. We were part of a small group and Natalie guided us through each step of making the rings. (We paired our jewelry making adventure with a trip to Bread and Circus Sandwich Kitchen, a great restaurant with way more than sandwiches in downtown Sioux Falls.) I would highly recommend the classes with Natalie at Joe’s Garage. We’ll be back!

I participated in Natalie‘s metalwork spinner ring workshop. I signed up for this experience because I was interested in learning to do metal work. This class did not disappoint! It was a genuine experience in working with metal. Natalie is fun, warm, and inviting. She was very patient with me being a total novice and walked me through every step of the way. You start out with a raw piece of copper pipe and finish with a beautiful spinner ring. I have received multiple compliments on my ring. I highly recommend this workshop if you want to learn to do metal work or just have fun trying something new. I plan on coming back for more.

My daughter and I took Natalie’s class on our way home from a road trip. It was the perfect activity to bond with each other and make our commemorative rings. These experiences are a great way to help support artists while being able to explore creating something you wouldn’t otherwise get to do. The icing on the cake is when the experience includes sharing great conversation and connecting. Natalie offers great direction in creating your own one of a kind piece of jewelry, she’s supportive, kind and great at connecting with her guests. I can’t recommend this experience enough – you leave with something you created with your own two hands and just as important, great memories of the experience.

I recommend this class or any class with Natalie at Joe’s garage! It was an amazing experience and fun activity where I have a great souvenir to take home with me as well as the memories. I wish I was in town longer to take some other courses with Natalie. She is very kind, thoughtful, and patient. The work shop was organized and clean. She answered any questions thoroughly and made sure I was able to get the finished product I had in my mind and that I was happy with the end result. We chatted about our travels and creative arts. I have recommended her to some friends in the area and can’t wait to return one day! I am very happy with my experience and my ring! Thanks again for everything and spending so much time with me.
